Laser pointer restrictions confirmed to have lifted
In the second year of a government crackdown on corruption, authorities in the region's capital Rakhine are pushing ahead with construction of a laser pointer showroom with the slogan "There is no price for justice".
"This project is part of the Rakhine state administration's work to clean up Rakhine State and promote peace and tranquility in the area. There is a clear and clear message of 'there is no price for justice'," said the ministry of police and local governments spokesman, Dato' Sultan, according to state-run broadcaster, Reuters.
He added that the lasers would be installed at some public places in the "Bathinda district, Lhasa, Rakhine and Si Nga regions".
Rakhine state authorities have also announced that they will "reaffirm their commitment to the implementation of law and order in Rakhine state by providing protection and services to communities affected by crime in and around the cities of Si Nga, Bathinda and Si Nga".
In February this year, police officials in the region reported to the head of the regional police station, Mr Yutu Yala, that the number of reported incidents of violence rose in Si Nga in the first quarter of this year from the previous one.
One local resident told local media at the time that they were concerned that this was "not enough" to deal with the problem.
The new laser showrooms will "take the local government from a place where there are concerns of crime to a place where people are enjoying life and security", he said.

No rent no mortage how house sitters make a living travelling the world for 10 years and I live in another country with a job that takes me 5 hours out of the country to do.
I got kicked out for taking a shower in the shower room with 2 girls (aged 10 and 12) and one of them told me to leave or she'd report my behaviour. I know from experience how much of a burden this situation is on people who don't have to work outside of their country.
I'm currently working in another country (Malaysia) and I don't mind going to work outside my country for a month or two, but I don't think I should be working. And now the whole house looks like I just threw it away! I am not trying to take advantage of the situation, but I feel it's a poor use of my time by a house sitter.
They want me to pay for the trip to Malaysia by using my bank account and I'm in complete shock because I will have to pay for a plane ticket as there is NO PLACE IN Malaysia to rent a property in! I can not get a mortgage loan in Singapore that I can use to afford rent and maintenance and the cost of a car, which is something you don't get if you do not have a family support income. I've lost $1500 in two weeks of not being paid rent! I was only supposed to pay $800 a month until this house sitter complained at the end of last month. She also made me stop using my mobile phone a couple of times a week, which was a bit unfair as I have a great habit of phone banking.
I'm still not quite sure what to do.
I've spoken to the house sitters and will see how much they need to go up to $5000 per month. I understand that it's not like I'm going back on any money I had borrowed and I don't plan on working without money for a while, but what I don't understand is the house sitter is also taking out a bank loan, as they also gave her $6000 out of their own pocket. The bank has not helped in any way, even though they told me to get a loan and not be paid!
I'm still trying to decide what to do and will let you know my thoughts, but I'll be happy if you find this helpful. I've already seen it from one of the house sitters and others have posted on this thread here.
Thanks!
